Awaken to Oneness Now, by Reverend Celeste A. Frazier

It is absurd that we have words like diversity and inclusion. It is certainly interesting that someone can consider himself so central that anything uniquely different from him has the “distinction” of being called diverse. The disease is otherness. Inclusion is also a curious word. Doesn’t one have to be excluded to be included? There is no whole without the sum of its parts.

When God created humans, the Bible does not say God created an Aryan heterosexual, cis-gendered able bodied man. History tells us the first human was found in Africa. I see no instructions to separate in any of the established world religions.

I call sin “separation in nothing”. God is All. To separate is to sin. It is an act of blasphemy.

Expressing Truth, Ernest Holmes declared, “all people are individualizations of the One Spirit.” None of us were manufactured in a factory, so that was not a leap. In Genesis, when it says, male and female created we them, I believe this was the manual for reproducing. With this coupling, you can re-create more of you.

Even if you were to take the theological piece away, you would still have science.

Emily Levine had stage four lung cancer and was okay with it. She spoke of how she loves the idea of being in sync with the cyclical rhythms of the universe. She said, “I am a collection of particles arranged into this pattern. Then, I’ll decompose, and all the constituent parts will be available to reorganize into another pattern.” And she was grateful to be part of that process.

We are a collection of particles. From a wave to a particle, we are either in the chicken stage or the egg stage. We have been created or are in the process of creating. To become a chicken, I must have been an egg. More important than being an egg is to know that the very Creative Process Itself is perfect. Let us keep becoming.

Quantum physics tells us that in my observations, I influence life. This is a God-given power that was not meant to be abused.

We say that we envision humanity awakening to its spiritual magnificence. It is time to wake up now. After millennia of sleeping, it is time to awaken to a world that works for everyone. The Creator did it already. We have the divine blueprint just as we have the biological blueprint.

We do not have to envision living and growing as One Global Family. This was already done. We must get out of the way and stop messing with perfection. Respect and honor the interconnectedness of all life. We were born into this kinship with all life. The Divine intention must be to prosper. Life must perpetuate Itself. Let us be still and know.

Transforming the Image, by Rev. Celeste Frazier

I love the language that Ernest Holmes uses as he talks about illusions as images. Many people may not realize the stuff we make up are images that can be dispelled. He says: “the creative genius of the inner life transforms the image of limitation and transmutes it into liberty under law.” These “images” seem so real, but they are like a magician’s illusions that trick us into thinking something is - that truly is not.

When I identify myself as a victim, I can cling to this victimhood and identify the perpetrator as my personal torturer. I can imprison him in that role for years – decades even. Until I know that I have the choi
ce to see him as whole, I cannot see myself as whole either. That’s the rub. We cannot limit the capacity of someone else without limiting our self-image and thereby, limiting our own power and freedom. Evolutionary Truth is available to us!

Holmes tells us early and often in the Science of Mind textbook that ignorance stands in the way of this Truth. This Truth can and does eliminate limitation, evil, suffering and uncertainty. We need not just cling to the beauty of the language when we can immerse ourselves in this Truth. As scientists, we certainly have the obligation to experiment with this. As self-loving humans, we must give ourselves this liberation!

I have released an unforgiveness that I held for decades just by consciously choosing to see his wholeness. Holmes tells us the evolution of our consciousness brings new powers and higher possibilities. I cannot begin to tell you how much lighter I feel. I cannot describe how much love has been unleashed and how much compassion has become as natural as breathing. That’s progress in the greatest possible way.

If we continue to think that things will always be as they were and insist on things being as they were, we are imprisoning ourselves and preventing our own evolution. All we need is a seed of innocence. When we plant that seed in our consciousness, it must produce. He says: “Involution is the cause and evolution is the effect.”

We can even misuse this law by making ourselves villains. When we argue for our own limitations, the Law will continue to say yes. We can experience so much more Joy and Peace because Who We Are is everything we would ever want.

The Dalai Lama said ““Compassion is the wish to see others free from suffering.” I have had this desire for as long as I can remember. I wanted people to be released from their anger, to feel safe enough to be sober, or to be happy enough to escape their sorrow and heartbreak. I wanted this for my family and the people I loved. I wanted food for the starving children and peace for people in war-torn countries. I wanted joy for Black people who seemed to be constantly in the grip of other people’s abuse. I wanted peace for Latinx people who seemed to be undervalued. I wanted safety for Asian people who were feared or stereotyped. I wanted people to mind their own business and not be so concerned with someone else’s sexuality. I wanted things to be different than they were. And I wanted to be happy. I wrote about suffering to find a happy ending. I performed in plays and on the screen to be someone who could go from pain to joy. I imagined things could be better, people could be happier, and life could be kinder than it appeared to be. Caring was never the issue. I cared. I gave my time, talent and treasure – whatever I had to give.

Ah, but what is treasure? And what is there to treasure? Right seeing is something to treasure.

Now I see that my focus did not need to be on suffering or even changing a condition. I realize now that my focus needs to be on freedom. I cannot change anything with a wish, but I can change my condition with affirmative prayer. I cannot change someone’s mind, but I can hold a vibration of freedom for anyone. In my connection with the Divine, I have certainly had glimpses of compassion toward those who appeared to torture me. And it didn’t matter if they were a politician or a relative. Freedom is a gift from the Divine. Real freedom, as Ernest Holmes tells us, is to know that we are created in the image of perfection and let alone and allowed to make the discovery for ourselves.

I find it interesting that people can congregate around an event and race thought multiplies like a troop of ants feeding on a crumb. Rather than go to compassion, they reactivate their unhealed pain and project it on the situation. I cannot change their thinking, but I can know healing is available. When I stop to consider what I would want for myself were I in that situation, I finally discover what the vibration that I can hold for an “other”. When I energetically embrace freedom, I am no longer bound. I can see through a different lens. Seeing anew is having a glimpse of eternity.

Too often we are convinced that our condition is our fate, when thinking simply makes it so. Thank God, we also have the freedom to change our thinking. A moment of Love reminds me that there is more to life than suffering. I am a Divine spark and I get to light the world in an instant.
